General Manager and Head Coach, BabyRace Driver Academy

Alessio Lorandi is the General Manager and Head Coach of BabyRace Driver Academy. His father, Sandro Lorandi, founded the team in 2007; today Alessio runs it alongside his brother Leonardo Lorandi.

He is the 2013 CIK-FIA Karting World Champion in KFJ, and raced single-seaters up to FIA Formula 2, taking a Formula 3 win at the 2016 Pau Grand Prix.

At BabyRace he leads driver performance: video and data debriefs after every session, corner-by-corner analysis, and the coaching that turns one fast lap into a repeatable one. Past BabyRace drivers now involved in F1 include Paul Aron, Felipe Drugovich and Franco Colapinto.

Outside the team, Alessio founded two companies for drivers who want the same methods. Senndit is his remote karting coaching platform, for drivers who cannot have a coach at the track. PURPL is the AI telemetry analysis app he built to read MyChron and AiM data and show a driver exactly where they are losing lap time, and why.
